Undercover Big Babe 1: Indisposed Big Girl

I really hated shopping for groceries, if not that Bola was down with the flu, I just wouldn't be here looking through a stack of items, trying to figure out which one to pick...of course I go with a list, but I can be a glutton for chocolates (or worse).

As I rolled my cart towards the counter, a tall beautiful fair skinned girl was already there.

Why are they always fair skinned??? Whitencious alert!

She kept rolling a strand of her Cambodian 32 inches hair, then typed really fast on her iPhone X with her long acrylic nails, giggling like a cat purring for more milk.

By mere assessment, this babe would be worth about half a million naira or more.

Not her assets but her body! don't get me wrong!

Everyone soon took note of her, her aura filled the air, I just stood there feeling oppressed, wondering why modern facilities chose to make life unfair for some of us.

"Can you please hurry, I have an appointment I don't want to be late for" she said with a well accentuated British accent, as she stomped her Giuseppe Zannotti slippers, showing her impatience.

"Sorry madam, your money is 45,850, cash or card?" the girl behind the counter said

"Cash" she opened up her Chanel purse, brought out a roll of 500naira notes and counted. It wasn't up to the money so she kept searching her purse for where the rest of it would be, then she started sweating.

Ah ah babe where is the money na? better start by dropping your phone, in fact I will help loose the hair, I have razor in my purse...bad pay day.

Is there a problem madam?" the girl at the counter said, probably amused, all eyes were fixed on the girl.

"No, just a second"

  The accent started fading slowly

"Maybe you could pay with your card?"

"I am sorry, I didn't come with mine"

Babes next time before you lie, tuck away all ye things of implications.

"Is that not your card on your hand ma?"

"It's not mine, please can I return some of the items?"

The accent had rested fully in perfect peace.

"Don't worry, I will pay, how much is left?"

Finally, I decided to jump in and save the day, the girl looked at me in total surprise

"It's 15,850"

I paid the rest of the money together with my bill and we both left the supermarket.

"Thank you so much, I am very grateful, how will I repay you?"

Accent fully restored.

"Don't worry, take it as an early Christmas present" I said as I got into the taxi waiting for me.

The event that occured in the supermarket was so funny, a Lagos big babe, that didn't know she had to check and balance her money with her list of items before shopping. She was in total luck I am in a good mood if not, I would have loved to see the end of it.

Never be deceived by the weight of a 500 naira note, it might be as light as a feather when weighed along with 1000 naira note I said to myself as the taxi drove me into my Lekki mansion.

To be continued.

Movie: Lionheart Review

If you want to watch a movie so surreal that it feels like it is just you, watching from a distance, as a certain family goes to through hurdles to retain longevity, then you should see Lionheart. In all hype and noise, Lionheart stands in the rubble, undeterred, whilst it goes ahead to break through clichés, stereotypes and the nerve jerking predictable story lines always churned out with few polishing. So it is safe to say; I did not expect the ending. I expected like a big BOOM where the protagonist Adaeze (Genevieve Nnaji) saves the day, but still the ending was very real life and a great moral lesson particularly for people in business. Also I loved how they movie was able to incorporate how lives were ruined by the 'Change' in government. How people were are forced to make huge gambles just to stay afloat. In all diamonds: the rubies, the topazes, the sapphires, the hyacinths, the crystals, the peridotes, the amethysts, the emeralds.... Lionheart is a Sa...

Poem: The Fairy of Nondally

There lived a fairy in Nondally, but she wasn't always seen. The people who did, said her face was gleam. She made the roses bloom, she guarded the loom. She was dressed in green, a clothing fit for a queen. There lived a fairy in Nondally, she barely spoke. Hair  of brass, eyes like it was teary from smoke. She looked at the splendor with eyes of wonder "O' what a scene that stretched to yonder" There lived a fairy in Nondally, I was told. Who could have known how I would feel if I could behold. A beautiful fairy, immaculate beauty It pleases me to pen down this in a jiffy.

The Boys You Want VS The Boys You Need.

(photo credit : Elena Berezina)  Let me tell you a story about the boys you want. They are mysterious, have a dangerous appeal, a spice of melodrama and zest for fantasy. Wonderland du jour and attention je ne sais quoi. They make you feel like you want the world to stop, heck the world stops when you are with them. The calls, damn the calls! Incessant, over the edge, every moment affair. You pour your hearts out on the phone, through texts, chats... It is a drug, you can never get enough of the intoxication. It is highend ecstasy borderline on molly heroine, morphine... The love engulfs you, you love them till your breathing stops, you love them till they call the cops on you... The love breeds madnees, you always want more but you never really get enough. And then... Reality sets in! It is an illusion, there is a sudden awakening, a flash of lightning that jolts you back to consciousness.  It comes fast, it ends faster. And then... Y...
