Religion Not Enslavement

I am a great believer, a testifier of God and his marvelous ways. My faith has worked for me in most circumstances and sometimes I just trust in him for his greater purpose when it comes to those that are not forthcoming coming; So therefore I apply hope.

Religion was made for each and everyone to have a choice, it is between you and God they always say, so why do we sometimes currently live not under the doctrine but under the laws created by religious leaders?
Overtime we read about pastors that perform inhumane acts on their congregation, converting worship to a kind of 'followership'. Demanding outrageous sums for a special prayer request, calling out non-tithers publicly, ostracizing a select few who they feel still operate on a carnal level, subject their followers to a kind of practice just because they say so and then I ask again, is religion still among a certain individual and their God?

Can someone safely practice what they want on their own terms without the interference from religious leaders who a vast majority of them have simply thwarted the Bible verses to suit their own personal gains?

How can we ever be saved if we are simply slaves to religion?

It was created for us to be set free, if it wasn't made for us not to have an opinion on what  we practice, then the only way you can have an access to a holy book is only in religious houses but we all have one in our homes.

Yes we all need the guidance from clerics who have amassed a level of knowledge in religion but that doesn't mean we should be blindfolded and not have an opinion, that doesn't mean we should apply a blind faith, that doesn't mean we should swallow whatever is tossed to us, hook, line and sinker.

We should understand that religion was created for the purpose for you to be saved and set free, like a divine intervention in your life. Any other practice that is otherwise, any other method that subjects people to slavery and uncouth practices is nothing but a religious cult.
