Beauty: How To Care For Your Natural Hair

Photo credit: essence.com Most times, we often complain about our natural hair not growing out to that particular bounce we want. It remains in a particular length for years. We see happy naturals with their full afro and stretched out relaxed hair, hung on their shoulders or beyond but one thing you should know is this; having a healthy hair doesn't come cheap. By coming cheap, I simply mean you don't expect a miracle to happen on your hair if you don't take care of it.  Recently I had the big chop after I was tired of my chemically relaxed hair breaking and thinning. It had no weight and also maintained an eight inch length for a period of seven years. I started reading up articles on how to care for my hair and make it look like what I saw on Google; then I realized, I have actually been mishandling my hair. I relaxed almost every month, I didn't have a particular regimen so I just used anything. I shuffled between stylists and it contributed a lot t

Movie: Everyone is Waiting on the Black Panther

The Black Panther by Marvel Studios would be in cinemas from the 15th of February, 2018. It is going to be a long Valentine's Day weekend and also a bad seller for Fifty Shades Freed. So calculatively speaking, I will watch mine on the 15th of March, 2018 on my online cinema. You get? By then, the buzz must have faded, the curtains drawn and it is just me, myself and I chilling with my popcorn, spreading my legs out and enjoying the ambience. But I do love the thrill that accompanies watching a movie in a packed cinema, I anticipated marvelling  at the sights of Wakanda on that very big screen but I guess I will have to fly solo. I sincerely hope that it definitely becomes worth the wait, it is a black superhero film so it is highly (emphasis on highly) anticipated by the Black community. I would definitely love to see more of Chadwick after his debut in the Captain America: Civil War, I knew he deserved his own screen time. The whole cast is top notch and from

Undercover Big Babe 1: Indisposed Big Girl

I really hated shopping for groceries, if not that Bola was down with the flu, I just wouldn't be here looking through a stack of items, trying to figure out which one to pick...of course I go with a list, but I can be a glutton for chocolates (or worse). As I rolled my cart towards the counter, a tall beautiful fair skinned girl was already there.   Why are they always fair skinned??? Whitencious alert! She kept rolling a strand of her Cambodian 32 inches hair, then typed really fast on her iPhone X with her long acrylic nails, giggling like a cat purring for more milk. By mere assessment, this babe would be worth about half a million naira or more. Not her assets but her body! don't get me wrong! Everyone soon took note of her, her aura filled the air, I just stood there feeling oppressed, wondering why modern facilities chose to make life unfair for some of us. "Can you please hurry, I have an appointment I don't want to be late for" she said
